Offering Cut-Off Date The 2009.1-11 offering report is ready. Please note that the cut-off date this year will be Dec.27, tax receipt will be prepared in Feb.10. Offering received later than Dec 27 will be counted as for 2010.
2009 Expense Voucher Cut-Off Date will be Jan 24, 2010. All department and ministry chairpersons please have their completed voucher submitted to accountant Alex Yan's mail slot before the cut-off date.
Church Pictures are ready. If you have ordered them, please come pay & pick it up at the foyer after worship.
2010 Church Calendar Please pick one up today but limit one per family. You are always welcome to pick up one for your non-believer family.
Fund Raising Committee are selling Key Lights to raise funds for the Church development project. The key light is $5 each, available in the foyer.
The Evangelism Department plans to launch the "Pacific Grace Urban Center" to reach out to the community. The proposal is available in the foyer and posted on the bulletin board. All comments and suggestions are welcome! Please contact Rev. Chang or Jeffrey Ng.
Staff News: Rev. Xavier Law is taking his annual leave on Dec 23. Pastor Ian Lau is taking his annual leave from Dec 21-31, before his last day at PG. Office is closed for Christmas and Boxing Day (Dec 25 - 26).
PRAYER & PRAISE
- 1. Praise to the Lord, we had over 200 people joined the Christmas Fundraising Dinner last Saturday. Over 80 gifts were donated by 20 brothers & sisters. This event had raised approximately $3000 for the Church Development Fund.
- 2. Pray for the Community Christmas Dinner on Dec 22. Pray that families would be blessed and know the love of God.
- 3. Pray for Soo Loh as her missionary support is complete and she has received her "green light" to go. Her commissioning service will be on Jan 31, 2010.
- 4. Pray for the Pastoral Search Team as they begin their search for a new English Pastor.
GOSPEL & MINISTRY
Community Christmas Dinner and Program, Dec 22, 2009, 5-8pm: We are partnering with Vancouver Urban Ministries to bless families in the Vancouver East area by shining the light of Jesus by preparing a Christmas dinner, gifts and program. We're looking for volunteers to help with meal preparation, decorations, gift wrapping, and singing. Program as follows:
5:00pm Welcome and Singing
5:30pm Dinner
6:30pm Program (Games, more singing, message)
7:15pm Gift distribution
7:30pm Dessert
8:00pm Conclude and cleanup

Monday, Dec 21, 2009
We need 6-8 volunteers to help with the main meal preparation (turkey, ham, beef etc.). We will be meeting Joseph Nurani at Broadway Church (2700 E Broadway, Vancouver, BC) at 10am at the Warehouse. We'll be using their kitchen for most of the day. You don't need to know how to cook but are willing to help and learn. Can anyone say Turkey Basting, Baby!
Tuesday, Dec 22, 2009 (where most help is needed)
Again, we'll appreciate assistance from 6-10 volunteers. Everyone will be meeting at Pacific Grace at 10am. The list of tasks include: gift wrapping, hamper building, more meal prep, table setup, greeters and worship team (1-2 vocalists, guitar, bass, hand drum) throughout the day. The worship team will be practicing at 3pm and will be led by Enos Choy (VUM).
