Offering Cut-Off Date The 2009.1-11 offering report is ready. Please note that the cut-off date this year will be Dec.27, tax receipt will be prepared in Feb.10. Offering received later than Dec 27 will be counted as for 2010.

2009 Expense Voucher Cut-Off Date will be Jan 24, 2010. All department and ministry chairpersons please have their completed voucher submitted to accountant Alex Yan's mail slot before the cut-off date.

Staff News: Rev. Xavier Law is taking his annual leave on Dec 28-31. Rev. Isaac Chang is taking his complementary day off on Dec 31. Rev. Grace Kim is taking her complementary day off on Dec 30 - 31. Mrs. Mimi Chu is taking her complementary day off on Dec 28. Office is closed on January 1^st.

New 2010 office hour for the Administrative Staff: Effective in January 2010, Mrs. Mimi Chu is having Wednesday as her regular day off. Miss Amy Pun's office hour is 10am-2pm on Wednesday and 10am to 6pm on Thursday and Friday.

Good-bye to Pastor Sherman Lau and Pastor Ian Lau: Pastor Sherman Lau and Pastor Ian Lau are leaving us after Dec. 31. We are very blessed to have these two pastors to serve with us in the past. Please pray for their new journey in life. May God continue to bless their new ministry and family.

PRAYER & PRAISE

• 1. Praise the Lord for the Community Christmas Dinner on Dec 22. Pray that families would be blessed and know the love of God. We had over 25 volunteers and more than 235 people joined us for the Dinner.
• 2. Praise the Lord for the Mandarin Christmas Dinner on Dec 20, we had 14 newcomers; please pray for any follow-up tasks.
• 3. Pray for Soo Loh as her missionary support is complete and she has received her "green light" to go. Her commissioning service will be on Jan 31, 2010.
• 4. Pray for the Pastoral Search Team as they begin their search for a new English Pastor.

GOSPEL & MINISTRY

The Evangelism Department plans to launch the "Pacific Grace Urban Center" to reach out to the community. The proposal is available in the foyer and posted on the bulletin board. All comments and suggestions are welcome! Please contact Rev. Chang or Jeffrey Ng.

The Evangelism Department In January, as they would conduct a survey with the neighbors, they are looking for volunteers to help on Sat. Jan 9, 16, 23, 30 and Sun Jan 17&31. If you are interested to help, please sign up at the bulletin board. For any inquiry, please contact Rev. Isaac Chang.

MISSIONS & EVANGELISM

Missions Fest 2010, Jan 8 - 10, at Broadway Church (2700 Broadway, Vancouver): Organizer will provide FREE shuttle bus from Renfrew skytrain station to Broadway Church. We encourage everyone to go.

BIBLE & TEACHING

Sunday School Fall Classes, 11:45am-12:45pm! -For the month of December, the class topics will be:

New Sunday school series beginning January! We'll be starting new Sunday school classes from youth to adults in January based on 1 Corinthians. Come and learn what the Bible says about the unity, marriage, idols and more. Sign up with Paul Shum today!

Adult and Youth Sunday School teaching opportunity: Enjoy helping others learn and apply God's word in their lives? Here is an opportunity to invest in the lives of youth (Grade 7-9, Grade 10-12) and adults through teaching. We are scheduling a SS teachers meeting on Dec 27 (time to be determined).
