Children Ministry Assessment Survey is due TODAY; please kindly return your completed survey to Pastor Teresa Lam or put it in the box at the foyer.
Easter Baptism & Membership Transfer Service will be held on April 4. Those who have made a commitment to Christ and would like to be baptized, or have attended our church for more than three months and desire to be a church member, please contact the Rev. Xavier Law.
Newcomers Welcome Lunch, Mar 28, 1pm, a FREE lunch for all the newcomers and their friends who bought them to any of our events during the past few months. Please sign up at the bulletin board.
Staff News Rev. Xavier Law will be attending the China Graduate School of Theology Pastoral Luncheon on 3/15. Rev. Law and Pastor Teresa Lam will be joining the "Faith at Home 2010" Conference on 3/16. All the pastoral staff will be attending the MBCCA meeting on 3/18. Staff meeting is switched to3/18 afternoon. Rev. Law is switching his day off to Monday(3/15) afternoon and Wednesday (3/18) morning for this week.
PRAYER & PRAISE
- 1. Pray for the Pastoral Search Task Force as they begin their search for a new English Pastor and Senior Pastor.
- 2. Pray for Sherwin Kwan, Olina Chang, Leona So, Leighanne Chan, Jason Lam, Benedicta Chan, Timmi Yu, Kitty Lee, who are now attending the "Dare2Share" Conference in Seattle, WA with their counselors (Grace Li, Kevin & Angus Wong). Please pray for their safety and learning.
GOSPEL & MINISTRY
Pacific Grace Urban Center (PGUC) will be open starting from March 25, every Thursday from 10-12pm. Medical workshop, cooking class and other activates will be offered to the community.
Pacific Grace Urban Center is recruiting volunteers to hand out flyers to our neighbors for March 14 & 21(Sunday). Please pray for us, and it would be great if you can come and help. We will be meeting at church foyer at 1pm.
MISSIONS & EVANGELISM
Soo's Update Soo just finished her orientation course and now is in HK. Please pray for ...
(1) Soo's siblings' immigration applications be approved soon, and that God has special provisions for the care of my parents when they are in Vancouver.
(2) Having close relationship with God, regular devotion, and fellowship with local church in HK.
(3) Good teamwork.

MBCCA KOINOS Seminars (a lay school of ministry) is hosting their classes in our church from April 2010 to March 2011. The Seminars will be conducted in English. Their world-class faculties are all scholar-teachers who teach regularly in graduate degree programs. If you are interested, we encourage you to take a brochure from the foyer and talk to a pastoral staff for more information.
CARING & COMMUNITY
Good Friday Joint Service, April 2, 2010, 7:30pm at Peace Mennonite Church we're gathering together to remember the sacrifice and love of Jesus. Pastor Andy Hy will be the speaker for this year, he will preach on "The Death of Jesus". All are encouraged to come and invite family and friends. Children program (age 3 - 12) is provided at Fraserview MB Church.
PGMBC 2010 Children Summer Day Camp, August 23-27 (Monday to Friday)
Summer is coming back and so does our Children Summer Day Camp, this is a great opportunity to outreach to the children in our community. We are now recruiting volunteers for the following positions:
- Planning committee members
- Small group leaders & Leaders in training (Gr.7-9)
- Game Leaders
- Craft Leaders
- Food preparation helpers
- Security/First-Aid personnel
- Singspiration Leader
- Gospel Speaker
