Many thanks and blessings

My heart is overwhelmed with different emotions and thanks. The last two weeks have been quite a roller coaster ride in life.

On Dec 3, I thought (or was hoping) the front drainage problem at home was only a small one, but it turned out that that the whole drainage system will need to be dug out and replaced. The contractor was nice to give me two advices:

1) get a few quotes, and
2) wait on the job to be done in spring
or even summer when drainage contractors are low in demand. I can tell you, at a split of second (okay, it was longer than that), I wish I could keep my high-pay job to pay for this fix.
 
On Dec 10, another contractor called me in the middle of repairing questionable supporting pillars, and said he had a "good" news for me-we were "lucky" that the house was not collapse. Peggy, my tenant, almost fainted when she saw the condition of the pillars and the dead ants. 

 

God is awesome.

In between all these, on Dec 10 evening, mychurch's Mission Board invited me to meet with them. With faith, we have planned my commissioning service to be on Jan 31, 2009 afternoon.
