  1. EM Sermon Series

This Sunday we are wrapping up our sermon series on “Stories from a Roadtrip with Jesus.” From August 2 through September 6 we will be following a new sermon series, “God Didn’t Say That.” This series will tackle some common popular Christian cliche statements that really are not in the Bible at all. Furthermore, even though well-meaning, misapplying these statements as promises from God can not only lead to disappointment with God but a breakdown of a person’s faith and trust in God. The purpose of this series is to understand what God did not say as well as to clearly understand and apply in our lives what God has said. If we are to “step out in faith” – our theme for this year – we can only do so as we put our faith and trust in who God really is and what he is really like.
